Enrollment

Dandelion is a two-year, cohort-based preschool program for children ages 2 years, 9 months – 5 years. Most children begin in late August at age three or shortly before their third birthday and attend for two years.

Age Requirements

For the 2027–2028 school year, children must turn three by November 17, 2027. Children who are within a month of this birthday requirement may be eligible to enroll, but must wait to start school until they are 2 years, 9 months old. Dandelion is a cohort-based program and does not generally offer rolling admissions. However, midyear enrollment may be considered when an unexpected opening becomes available; children must still meet the birthday and minimum age requirements.

Tours & Applications

Tours for the 2027–2028 school year begin in October! Please sign up for a tour here. A tour of the school must be completed before an application can be submitted.

Enrollment Process

In January, after our returning families make their schedule requests, we know how many openings we’ll have for the next school year. We work to create a balanced roster of new students, taking into consideration age, gender, and diversity. We aim to offer available spots to new families by mid-February.
